NCAS Intermediate Coaching General Principles Course now available by correspondence

The NCAS Intermediate Coaching General Principles Course was developed by the Australian Sports Commission and Sports Education and Leadership Services is an approved provider.  The Intermediate Coaching General Principles Course aims to develop coaching knowledge and skills for the intermediate coach including an emphasis on the sport sciences and their application to coaching.

Sports Education and Leadership Services can be booked to deliver the NCAS Intermediate Coaching General Principles course directly to groups.  We also offer the course by distance nationally.

Full course cost: $175 per person (inc GST) to an Australian address. Includes postage and handling, course guidelines, course manual, worksheets, tutoring and assessment


Pre-requisites: Coaches must have their NCAS Level 1 or equivalent accreditation.

Correspondence courses are allowed a maximum of 12 months from receipt of payment.



On successful completion of the Intermediate Coaching General Principles course, candidates are awarded the Australian Sports Commission’s Certificate of Completion.

*Coaches must complete the sports specific component and their practical coaching component to be eligible for accreditation with the National Coach Accreditation Scheme.
